Fender Ads
Challenge
For this project, we were to create three different ads all for one company, as part of an advertisement campaign. Naturally, as a musician (and more specifically, bassist), I chose to do a set of advertisements for Fender’s line of bass guitars.

Solution
In order to create sleek, eyecatching posters, I opted for an all black and white theme, because I am really drawn to its boldness and stark contrast. For the typography, I used a sans serif that had a slight wear- and-tear on it when inspected up close, similar to the actual wear one might see on a well-loved bass guitar.
Results
The project came out beautifully, ending up one of my favorite design projects I’ve done to this day. This project taught me how fun design could be, even when done for school or for work. It also taught me the important role that repetition plays in bringing several pieces together into one ‘set’ of work.
