Challenge

The goal for this project was to produce an entire marketing campaign, along with brand guide, advertisements, print collateral, and ephemera.
The company of choice was the skateboarding and apparel company, Vans.

Because I was designing a marketing campaign for an already established brand, I tried to follow the preexisting brand standards as much as possible. Things such as the logo, color palette, patterns, slogans, and more were pulled directly from Vans’ pre-established branding. New additions such as advertisements and ephemera were designed to with said preexisting brand standards in mind, in order to keep branding consistent.

Results

The resulting marketing campaign and brand guide were sleek and fitting to the long established brand, with things like the designed ads within the campaign reminiscent of those currently displayed on Vans’ website in Vans’ stores.
