Lobo Records
Challenge
The assignment for this project was to produce a series of pieces for corporate branding, of which we could could decide the subject matter. With my dreams of going into the music industry, I decided to create the record label “Lobo Records.” The label would be focused on hard genres of music such as rock, punk, and metal.
Solution
Designing and branding everything from scratch, I decided on various things such as the logo, typography, and color palettes. I then created a complete business suite, informational pamphlet, and ephemera. Because the record label was focused on harder and darker genres of music, I decided to go with a dark color palette, sleek typography that complimented the graphics, and a grungy wolf head illustration paired with punk-inspired type for the logo.
Results
The resulting project served as a strong basis for a brand, every piece fitting together cohesively in a way felt that harmonious and resonant with the type of company at hand.
